How long does it take to produce 3D stickers?
-
- The fastest method is digital printing. We can fulfil orders in as little as 2 to 3 working days. However, due to the number of projects in the queue, production usually takes 4 to 5 working days.
- Screen printing takes a bit longer, typically around 7 working days.
- Offset printing requires more time for preparation, with deadlines reaching up to 10 working days.
Of course, deadlines also depend on the production volume. We recommend delivery in several stages for very large orders to ensure that the first stickers are delivered as quickly as possible.

What is the maximum and minimum size of 3D dome stickers?
We can produce raised stickers starting from a minimum size of 3 mm.
Specifying a maximum size for stickers is difficult, but we also create 3D labels that exceed one metre in length. That’s quite a large project.
The range of possibilities with machine polyurethane pouring is extensive. We can adapt to almost all of our client’s ideas.

How to prepare graphics for producing 3D stickers?
Sometimes you want to prepare a 3D sticker design yourself or through your own graphic designer. If you have that option, below you will find the settings that the files should have.
- FILE FORMAT: if the graphic is vector, we recommend the CDR (Corel Draw) format, or PDF, EPS, AI. You can also use image formats such as TIFF, JPG, GIF.
- FONTS: convert all to “curves”.
- COLOURS: colour profile should be CMYK (for digital printing) or PANTONE (for screen printing).
- RESOLUTION: minimum 300 DPI or higher.
- PROJECT SCALE: 1:1 according to the dimensions of the 3D sticker.
- BLEEDS: 2 mm on each side (when the graphic reaches the cutting line).
- CUTTING LINE: mark with a distinct colour and round sharp edges by at least 1 mm.
We will thoroughly check the graphic you have prepared. If you don’t want to deal with this, we can prepare the sticker design for you. Just send the graphic and content via email.

What do I need to provide to get a quote for the production of dome stickers?
-
Firstly, please provide us with the dimensions and shape of the sticker.
-
Determine the quantity.
Now, we can prepare a quote for resin stickers with digital printing. Unless you have Pantone colours in your design, we will use screen printing and need to know the number of colours.
The types of foil will also slightly affect the price. Just let us know the colour or effect you wish to achieve. And that’s usually all we need.

Reducing Production Costs
Please read below about ways to reduce production costs. There are several methods, and we are happy to share our experiences in this area.
-
Can you create different projects with one set of 3D stickers?
If the shape and size of these stickers are the same, you can add these projects together. This will result in a higher production output. And that means lower prices for 3D stickers. The easiest way to achieve this is through full-colour digital printing. In this case, it doesn’t matter whether the designs have one colour or multiple colours.
Screen printing will be more challenging. There, we print designs in Pantone colours. Each additional colour on different projects affects the preparation costs. This is also true when various versions of stickers are printed on other films. For example, one design is white film, while another is silver.
If savings cannot be found in printing, there is still a chance during the pouring process. There will be savings with the same layout of identical shapes on the sheet. We will combine this in production into one batch for pouring.
There are usually opportunities to produce more cost-effectively. We often suggest to our clients increasing the quantity. With consistent sticker usage, this makes sense. The price per sticker will be lower.
-
How to lower the price of raised stickers without losing quality?
The price is determined by the size of the sticker, which refers to the number of square centimetres that we cover with polyurethane. The smaller the area, the lower the price of the raised labels.
The shape of the sticker also significantly impacts the price. For instance, if you’re considering a sticker that fits within the dimensions of 3 x 5 cm, the area for a rectangle would be 15 cm². However, if you choose an ellipse, it would be approximately 11.8 cm².
This difference becomes important for larger quantities. Additionally, the amount you order greatly influences the prices. If you order more, the initial costs will be spread over larger stickers, resulting in a lower price per unit.
Changing the printing technique from more expensive screen printing to cheaper digital printing may be worth it for some projects. Often, the print quality will be identical. Therefore, it’s worth exploring savings in this area. As you can see, we have several ways to prepare a beneficial production offer for you.
We would be happy to tell you what else we can do to help you save money, all while maintaining the quality of our products. We have a few more strategies for that.

Does the price of 3D stickers depend on the number of colours?
We most often print digitally. Here, we have a full palette of CMYK colours. The price will be the same regardless of the number of colours.
The same applies to offset printing, which we use for larger print runs. Here, too, you can expect fixed costs, regardless of the number of colours. The designer can show their creativity.
It’s different when a project needs to be printed using screen printing. When does this happen? It’s when we want to achieve interesting effects with mirror foils, such as silver or gold. We also use screen printing when we have a colour from the Pantone palette, which cannot be achieved with digital printing. In this type of printing, costs depend on the number of colours in the project. Each additional colour increases the price due to higher setup costs.
Don’t worry too much about this. We will tailor the pricing offer for 3D stickers to your budget and choose an economical printing technique.
Product Durability
Below, you will find out what durability to expect from our products and how long they will serve your business.
-
Will 3D dome stickers lose their appearance over time?
They won’t lose. How do we achieve this effect?
When creating 3D stickers, we carefully choose the right materials, from the film and printing to the final pouring into a dome mold. We prioritize quality over cost, ensuring that our 3D stickers are durable and effective for your business in the long run.
-
Are 3D labels suitable for application on vehicles?
Yes. Because the car’s paint is smooth, 3D stickers will work well and will definitely not come off.
The raised stickers are resistant to water and chemicals. They can be washed multiple times and are also UV-resistant. They will still look as good as new on the cars.
-
Are 3D stickers resistant to water and sunlight?
Yes. The stickers are completely waterproof. Additionally, sunlight does not alter their appearance. Our tests indicate that the raised stickers maintain their look for up to 10 years.
-
How to stick 3D labels so that they don’t come off?
Stick them on clean and degreased surfaces. Flat and smooth. If your product has an uneven surface, consult our advisor.
Apply them when the ambient temperature is at least 15 °C.
After application, the raised labels will achieve full adhesion only after 1 – 2 days. Don’t judge their stickiness based on temporary adhesion, as the adhesive does not bond quickly.
-
Are the raised stickers durable?
The durability of our 3D stickers is at least 10 years. We anticipate even longer. We have stickers in the company that have been applied for over 15 years and still look very good.
Product Properties
Our markings possess several important properties. These characteristics often change depending on external conditions, so it’s worth understanding this topic to use our products correctly.
-
Will the print quality be sufficient for the small embossed label to be readable?
Some projects are just a few millimetres in size. Will such small labels be legible? From our experience, the answer is yes. Digital printing works well, even for very small stickers.
We can produce 3D embossed promotional stickers with logos of very small dimensions. We use fonts that ensure appropriate readability. Other techniques, such as screen printing or offset printing, also help achieve good results. These techniques are also highly accurate.
How can we ensure and guarantee legibility? We can create a print proof digitally. We often conduct print proofs, especially when the project elements are small.
-
How does temperature affect 3D stickers?
Always apply 3D labels at a temperature of at least 15 °C. At this temperature, they are flexible and the adhesive bonds well with the substrate. Temperature significantly affects the plasticity of the embossed labels.
High temperatures are not an issue. You can use them on hot surfaces like heating appliances or ovens.
In low or negative temperatures, the labels lose their plasticity and ease of use. In winter, embossed stickers are transported in low temperatures, so after delivery, leave them for 2 hours at room temperature. They will regain their flexibility and ease of application. Temperature does not harm them in any way, but using them immediately after delivery may be challenging.
-
How long can I store 3D stickers before using them?
A maximum of two years. If you plan to use the labels within two years of ordering, it’s worth ordering a larger quantity. If you keep the domed stickers at room temperature, the film will retain its full properties. The print will also look the same. Take advantage of this opportunity and save money.
-
Does the print colour change after immersing the sticker in a dome mould?
Resin application slightly brightens the colours in the design. It does not affect the actual print but alters the way light reflects. The polyurethane creates a raised lens on the graphic, slightly changing its appearance. This is a minor change, but it can be noticeable. It’s a natural characteristic of this product.
-
Can the shape of 3D domed stickers be unusual? Does it affect the price?
We can produce 3D labels in shapes other than square, circle, rectangle, or ellipse. The captivating shape of 3D domed stickers makes it much easier to stand out.
Will it be more expensive because of this? Not necessarily. It depends on how the project looks.
A complicated shape may slightly increase the cost of casting. Send us your idea, and we will review it.
